Every child deserves a place to discover.
We provide educational programs and health-related support for children in the Puget Sound region, so that learning and well-being never depend on a family’s income, language, or zip code.
Why we exist
The gap is real, and it is local.
In our own community, a child’s access to tutoring, developmental screening, or speech support too often comes down to whether a family can afford it out of pocket.
Waitlists run months long. Insurance denies coverage. Families new to the country do not know where to begin. Meanwhile the window for early intervention, the years when support changes a trajectory, quietly closes.
Discovery Hub Foundation exists to close that gap for the families who need it most: to fund the tutoring session, the screening, the enrichment program that a family could not otherwise reach.
What we do
Four programs, one purpose.
Each program removes a specific barrier between a child and the support they need. We are launching these in phases through 2026 and 2027.
Developmental Screening Fund
Covers the cost of speech, occupational, and developmental screenings for children whose families are uninsured, underinsured, or facing long public waitlists.
Launching 2026Family Navigation
One-on-one help for parents learning to navigate school services, IEPs, insurance appeals, and community health resources, with support available in multiple languages.
Launching 2027Enrichment Scholarships
Scholarships that place children in summer learning, STEM, and reading programs that build confidence and keep skills sharp between school years.

Built for transparency from day one.
We are a new organization, and we know trust is earned. So we publish our numbers, our governance, and our filings openly, before anyone asks.
Our board serves entirely without compensation. Every dollar donated goes toward programs and the direct costs of delivering them. We file our IRS Form 990 annually and post it publicly.
